Regional Champions 2008
Bristol Hawks Elite Girls took three titles at the South West Championships held in Melksham on June 15th.
The Senior FIG was won by Laura Lovell who put in soild performances on Vault, Bars & Beam and only just missed her new tricky triple twist dismount on floor.
In the U’13 FIG competition Shannon Lee & Amy Sharp both made up for their disappointment at the British. Shannon posted a personal best score [actually the highest score of any age group on the day] of 48.113 to take the title with Amy successfully completing her snazzy free cartwheel-backflip-layout salto combination on beam to win the silver overall.
Stacey Godden rallied after a disasterous beam routine to produce great performances on the other apparatus [personal bests on both Vault & Floor] to win the Senior Challenge Cup
