Bristol County & Open Invitational 2008
The annual Bristol County Championships [Open to gymnasts at Clubs within Bristol County] is traditionally combined with the Bristol United Gymnastics Invitational competition [B.U.G.‘s] which is open to all and this year had gymnasts from as far away as Swansea, Woking and Poole taking part to have the chance to win both medals & Bug themed prizes!
Bristol Hawks girls were highly successful in both events winning five county titles:
Level 2 ~ Claudia Fragapane 1st
FIG 12/13yrs ~ Shannon Lee 1st
FIG 14/15yrs ~ Hannah Frampton 1st
Modified 16+yrs ~ Stacey Godden 1st
Fig 16+yrs ~ Laura Lovell 1st
and also taking the silver medal in:
Level 3 ~ Olivia Bloodworth 2nd
& bronze in [should have been silver but for a error]:
FIG 12/13 Section ~ Amy Sharp 3rd
In the Invitational our girls also took 4 golds and 3 bronze
